Newly-built single-storey bungalow near Perranporth, 2.4 miles from the beach and rated M3i on the National Accessible Scheme - the highest tier for guests using a wheelchair full-time. Sleeps four across two bedrooms, with a wet-room en-suite and mobile-hoist capacity. Cream tea on arrival.

The interior is single-level with wide doorways throughout, overhead beams, height-adjustable kitchen fittings and Chesterfield sofas in the open-plan living space. A private hot tub sits in the enclosed garden alongside a BBQ and patio seating area. Off-street parking lands you steps from the front door, and dogs are welcome in the bungalow.

Perranporth Beach is a five-minute drive and one of the few Cornish beaches with wheelchair access onto the sand. The town has the Watering Hole pub on the beach itself, the boating lake at the north end, and the South West Coast Path running south four miles to St Agnes for the Wheal Coates clifftop ruins. Newquay airport is 8 miles north-east.

Best for: guests with mobility needs travelling as a couple or with a carer, or anyone wanting a hot-tub stay with full accessibility built in. Less good for: larger groups - the bungalow caps at four - or guests who want to walk to a beach.
