The Cottage

The Cottage is a four-bedroom house at Mount Douglas Farm, near Carbis Bay, for eight guests. Three bathrooms help reduce queues for a group of this size, and a gas fire and balcony add comfort. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and coffee machine, and bed linen and towels are included in the rent. If the bed arrangement matters to your group, ask about it when you book.

Wi-Fi, parking, a dishwasher, washing machine, garden and barbecue are all included, and dogs can stay. Changeover day is Saturday.

Carbis Bay, a 500-metre arc of Blue Flag sand centred on the Carbis Bay Hotel that hosted the 2021 G7 summit, is 0.6 miles away. Porthkidney Beach is 1.2 miles from the house and Porthminster Beach 1.7 miles. The Mount Douglas Farm address sits outside the centre of Carbis Bay itself, so route and access should be checked before arrival - the village has a rail halt connecting to St Erth in 12 minutes for mainline trains to Paddington.

**Best for:** families or friends wanting four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a garden, balcony, laundry and parking near several beaches. **Less good for:** guests needing verified step-free access, a stated dog limit or a confirmed bedroom layout.
