Penzance with its mainline rail connection and full range of shops is 3 miles. Mousehole's famous December harbour light display and Tom Bawcock's Eve celebration at the Ship Inn draw visitors from across the county each year.

Best for couples wanting to be in the thick of a historic fishing village, close to the sea without needing a car. The harbour setting means noise from the quay during summer evenings. Less good for those wanting space, a quiet rural location, or travelling with more than one dog.
