Munnings Studio

Munnings Studio is a single-storey accessible cottage near Mousehole, sleeping 2 in a double bedroom. Built entirely on one level, the cottage sits 700 metres from Lamorna Cove and is connected directly to the South West Coast Path. Rates from £423 per night. One dog is welcome.

The open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area is compact and well-fitted, with a dishwasher and washing machine for longer stays. The double bedroom connects to its own en-suite shower room. A wall-mounted TV, DVD player, and Bluetooth speaker serve evenings in. The layout has no internal steps - genuinely accessible throughout - and parking is on site with Wi-Fi included. A small private terrace with a picnic bench leads onto a shared communal courtyard.

Lamorna Cove - a sheltered granite inlet favoured by divers and snorkellers - is 700 metres on foot. Mousehole village, with its working harbour, fish shops, and pubs, is 2.1 miles by road. Penzance is about 3.7 miles for supermarkets, galleries, and the Scillonian ferry to the Isles of Scilly. St Michael's Mount, the tidal island castle managed by the National Trust, is about 5 miles from the cottage. Penberth Cove, one of the few working fishing coves on the far west coast, is 2.6 miles along the coast path.

Best for couples or solo walkers wanting a genuinely single-storey accessible base with the coast path on the doorstep and a dog welcome. Less good for families needing more than one bedroom or guests who need a private enclosed garden.
