The Mealhouse

The Mealhouse is a one-bedroom cottage on Polean Farm near Pelynt, a village about three miles north of Looe, set up for two guests with one bathroom. The single-storey layout has one double bedroom and shared access to a games room and swimming pool used by the wider farm complex.

EV charging, parking, Wi-Fi, a private garden and a barbecue are included, along with a washing machine and a shared coin-operated laundry for extras. There is no dishwasher. Dogs are not accepted, and changeover day is Friday.

The appeal is the couple-break setup: a compact cottage with shared leisure facilities and south-coast coves within a short drive, without the cost of a larger house. Talland Bay is 1.9 miles away, Lekerock Cove Beach 2.1 miles and Lansallos Beach 2.6 miles, the last reached down a steep woodland path to a quiet sand and shingle cove. Pelynt itself has the 15th-century St Nonna church and the Jubilee Inn, with Looe and Polperro both under four miles by road, and Fowey and the Eden Project about ten miles west for a longer day out.

**Best for:** Couples wanting a compact cottage with pool access, EV charging and south-coast beaches within a few miles.

**Less good for:** Dog owners or guests who want a beach directly outside the door.
