Lansallos Beach, a National Trust cove reached by a 15-minute walk through a wooded valley, is 4.8km.
Polperro, a compact fishing village with a working harbour and no through traffic, is around 5km east. Looe, a larger town with a wide sandy beach split by a tidal river, is under 10km. The South West Coast Path connects both from Talland Bay.
