The Annex At The Barn

The Annex At The Barn is a one-person retreat in a stone-built farmhouse in the countryside, 2.2 miles from Pelynt. It has a single bedroom with a single bed and a shower room with a walk-in shower, a basin and a WC. There is a spiral staircase.

The open-plan living space has a kitchen, a dining table and a sofa. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge, a kettle and a toaster, and there is a TV and WiFi. Underfloor heating keeps the space warm, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are covered by the rent.

Outside, a private, non-enclosed patio has furniture, and there is ample off-road parking. One well-behaved pet is welcome, and smoking is not allowed. The shop and the pub are each 2.6 miles away and the beach is 5 miles.

Polperro is 3.6 miles away and Looe 3.9 miles, with Fowey 8.6 miles and Liskeard 8.8 miles. Colliford Lake, Golitha Falls and the Hurlers Stone Circles are among places to visit, and Looe has a beach suited to walks with a dog. The annex suits a solo traveller who has a car, and it is less good for anyone who finds a spiral staircase awkward.
