The Nook

The Nook is a one-bedroom cottage for two in Porthleven, with a five-foot king-size bed and a single bathroom suiting a couple or solo guest. The lower-ground living room has an L-shaped sofa and a wood burner, and glass doors open directly onto an enclosed patio used for outdoor dining.

WiFi, parking, a dishwasher and a washing machine are included, and up to two dogs are welcome. Both living rooms have a Smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime, and the king-size bedroom is on the first floor. There is no step-free access.

Porthleven Beach is 600 metres away and is known locally as a surfing beach with golden sand. Rinsey Cove is 2.4 miles from the cottage and Praa Sands is 3.5 miles away, giving two further options for a longer beach day. Porthleven itself has become one of Cornwall's food destinations, with Kota Restaurant and Kota Kai on the harbour from chef Jude Kereama, both a short walk from the cottage.

**Best for:** A couple or solo guest wanting a wood burner, an enclosed patio, laundry facilities and a Porthleven Beach walk of 600 metres, with up to two dogs.

**Less good for:** Groups needing more than one bedroom, or anyone requiring step-free access.
