The Penthouse

The Penthouse is a third-floor 2-bedroom apartment on Church Street in Helston, sleeping 4. Both bedrooms have their own en-suite bathroom - a useful layout for two couples or adults who want separate facilities. It sits in a converted building in the town centre with on-site parking. Parking is included with the booking, and so is Wi-Fi.

The apartment includes Wi-Fi, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Dogs are not accepted at the apartment. Changeover day is Thursday, and a pub and shop are within a mile. The Church Street location puts Helston's market, the Museum of Cornish Life on Market Place (free entry), and the Blue Anchor pub on Coinagehall Street within a few minutes on foot.

Porthleven Beach is roughly 2.2 miles south - a working harbour with well-regarded restaurants and a dramatic sea wall to walk during rough weather. Penrose Estate, managed by the National Trust and home to Loe Pool (Cornwall's largest natural freshwater lake), is reachable from Porthleven. The Lizard stretches south from Helston, with Kynance Cove and Lizard Point both within a 30-minute drive.
