The Pines

The Pines is a four-bedroom house in Carbis Bay sleeping 8, with 3 bathrooms and an enclosed garden. It sits in a residential part of the village just above the valley that leads down to the beach - a useful base for larger groups or families who want a big sandy bay on the doorstep without the noise and traffic of St Ives town centre.

The house includes off-road parking, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and Wi-Fi. Four bedrooms across 3 bathrooms means comfortable sharing for groups of 6-8. No pets. The garden gives outdoor eating space without needing to book a terrace. Saturday changeovers.

Carbis Bay beach - a Blue Flag arc of pale sand with seasonal lifeguard cover - is about 0.3 miles downhill. From the beach, the South West Coast Path leads east to Porthminster Beach (about 0.9 miles further) and into St Ives harbour. The branch-line halt at Carbis Bay gives a quick rail option into St Ives (one stop, roughly 5 minutes) if driving in feels like too much. For bigger surf, Gwithian Towans is a short drive north.

Best for families or two smaller groups sharing, wanting a proper house with a garden close to a sheltered swimming beach. Less good for those who need to be right in the heart of St Ives, or anyone travelling with dogs.
