Perranporth's town beach stretches north toward Penhale Sands and south toward Droskyn Point. The South West Coast Path runs along the clifftop in both directions, with the route north going toward Newquay and south toward St Agnes. Perranporth town has a surf school, pub, and Co-op within 700m.

Trevellas Cove, a quieter north-coast inlet with the remains of a historic tin stream workings, is 4.4km. Holywell Bay, a family-friendly National Trust beach with sand dunes, is 4.9km. Newquay, Cornwall's largest resort town with its own international airport, is around 12km north along the coast road.

This is a good option for large groups or multi-family holidays wanting direct beach access with a hot tub and sea views. Less good for those on a tighter budget or needing a quieter, more remote setting.
