Trevalga

Trevalga is a detached four-bedroom cottage for ten in Porthcothan Bay. Three bedrooms have king-size beds, including one with its own dressing room, while the fourth combines twin beds, a single and a three-foot pull-out trundle - a flexible arrangement for children or a mixed group. Four bathrooms give a full house of ten genuine breathing room at busy times of day.

An open-plan living area creates the main gathering space, and a balcony looks towards the bay. The ground-floor kitchen/diner has a breakfast bar and a Smart TV, and there is a utility room. The beach access is the real selling point: Porthcothan Bay Beach is 900 metres away beyond the dunes, close enough for morning swims and second trips after lunch. Bedruthan Steps Beach and Treyarnon Bay are both 1.6 miles for a change of scenery.

A gas wood burner-effect fire, Wi-Fi, parking, a barbecue, a dishwasher and a washing machine are included. The cottage has a garden, and up to two dogs can stay, and dog owners relying on secure boundaries should ask the owners whether the garden is enclosed before booking.

**Best for:** a ten-person group wanting four bathrooms, varied beds, a gas wood burner-effect fire and a walkable beach beyond the dunes.

**Less good for:** guests requiring confirmed step-free access or an enclosed dog area.
