Trotters is a three-bedroom semi-detached barn conversion in Mount Hawke, between St Agnes and Porthtowan on the north coast. It sleeps six across a reverse-level layout with bedrooms and the family bathroom downstairs and the main living space above. Dogs are welcome, and the cottage carries a 9.3 rating from three reviews.

Upstairs, the open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area has vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, and wooden floors. An open fire sits in the living space for cooler evenings. The kitchen includes a dishwasher and washing machine. Wi-Fi runs throughout. Changeover is on Saturdays, with prices from GBP637/week rising to GBP1,586 at peak.

Outside, an enclosed garden has space for outdoor seating, with private parking at the property. Mount Hawke village sits a short walk away, with a licensed cafe, a village shop, and one of Cornwall's better-known indoor skate parks. Porthtowan - a south-facing Blue Flag sandy cove with a popular surf break and beach cafe - is around 2 miles by car or footpath. Chapel Porth, managed by the National Trust, and Perranporth are both a short drive further along the coast.

St Agnes village, with its tin-mining history and access to the South West Coast Path, is a few miles north. The Coast to Coast cycle trail begins at Bissoe, around 5 miles east, running traffic-free to Devoran on the south coast.

Best for families or groups of six wanting a quiet village base with surf beaches within easy reach and an open fire for evenings. Less good for guests wanting beach-side accommodation or a larger garden.
