Veryan Cottage

Veryan Cottage is a two-bedroom stay for four in central Fowey, with Bodinnick across the river as the nearest named town. A king size bedroom and a twin room are supported by two bathrooms, useful for two couples or a family sharing.

The garden is built into the hillside on two levels, reached by steps, with outdoor seating and views towards the river. WiFi and a dishwasher are included, and up to two dogs can stay. Ask the owner about parking before booking. Restaurants and the harbourside are close by on foot, and kayak, paddleboard and RIB trips can be arranged through a local activity centre.

Readymoney Cove is about 0.6 miles away, Lantic Bay is roughly 1.4 miles from the cottage, and Lansallos Beach is around 2.6 miles further along the coast. The Fowey riverbank itself is only 175m from the front door, the closest water access of any nearby option.

The cottage is reached by a set of steps from the street and takes the upper two levels of a stone building, with a staircase between the kitchen and dining level and the living room and twin bedroom above, so it does not suit guests who need step-free access. The river outlook is a genuine amenity.

**Best for:** two couples or a family of four wanting central Fowey, river views, a garden and Readymoney Cove within a short walk.

**Less good for:** guests who need step-free access.
