White Wings

White Wings is a vaulted loft apartment for four in Fowey, a few streets from the town's western edge. One bedroom has a king-size bed and the other is a twin, and two bathrooms serve the group - a strong ratio for an apartment of this size. The loft position means stairs, so it suits guests who can manage them comfortably.

This is a deliberately pared-back stay where the location does the work, and dogs are not accepted. The kitchen has a dishwasher, and a washing machine sits in an adjacent utility room. The family bathroom has a bath, and French doors from the lounge lead onto the balcony. What the apartment offers instead is a balcony for outdoor dining and one of the best beach positions in town - Readymoney Cove is just 300 metres away, close enough for a swim before breakfast.

Lantic Bay is 1.6 miles for a wilder cove, Lansallos Beach is 2.9 miles, and Fowey's restaurants, shops and the South West Coast Path all sit within walking distance of the door.

**Best for:** a small family or two couples wanting separate king and twin rooms, two bathrooms, a balcony and Readymoney Cove a short walk away.

**Less good for:** guests needing outdoor ground space, dogs along or step-free access.
