Windwhistle

Windwhistle is a four-bedroom cottage in Polzeath with a wrap-around garden, sleeping 7. All four bedrooms are on the ground floor - a king-size with en-suite, a double, a single, and a zip-and-link twin that can convert to a super-king on request. A first-floor lounge opens onto a balcony, separating living space from sleeping areas in a practical arrangement for mixed groups.

The kitchen/diner has a wood burner, dishwasher, and washing machine. Outside, a BBQ and garden room extend the outdoor space, and the wrap-around garden gives the dogs somewhere to run. Parking for 3 cars is on-site. Up to 2 dogs are welcome.

Polzeath Beach is 700 metres away - a half-mile sandy beach with consistent left and right-hand surf breaks, RNLI lifeguards in season, and several surf schools operating between Easter and October. Greenaway Beach is a quieter option just 800 metres in the other direction. Rock is about 2 miles south, with the water taxi to Padstow connecting the Camel Estuary; Port Isaac is 6 miles north along the coast path.

**Best for:** Families with teenagers, mixed adult groups, or dog owners who want direct access to one of Cornwall's best-known surf beaches without driving. **Less good for:** Couples or small pairs - the cottage is sized for groups and may feel oversized at off-peak rates; no hot tub if that's a priority.
