Tabbs Restaurant

Tabbs is a small, chef-run restaurant at 85 Kenwyn Street, a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Truro, off the main shopping streets. Chef-patron Nigel Tabb trained in busy London kitchens and ran the restaurant in Portreath before moving it to Truro more than 10 years ago. The dining room has lilac walls, high-backed leather chairs and slate floors.

The cooking is modern British built on local produce, and everything is made on site, from the bread to the chocolates served with coffee. The wine list is known for fair prices. Dinner is served Tuesday to Saturday from 5.30pm to 9pm, lunch is by arrangement for tables of eight or more, and a Sunday roast runs twice a month at 1pm - call 01872 262110 for those dates.
