Waves Apartments

Waves Apartments is a modern apartment development at Watergate Bay, 500 metres from one of north Cornwall's best surf beaches. The one-bedroom apartment sleeps 4 people and faces toward the sea - views from the living area look out over the bay. Garden access is included. Dogs are welcome, and there is on-site parking.

Inside, the apartment is equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine, covering the basics for a self-catering stay of a week or more. The single bathroom serves the bedroom. WiFi is included.

Watergate Bay beach is a 2-mile stretch of west-facing sand with consistent Atlantic surf, RNLI lifeguard cover in summer, and the Extreme Academy watersports centre on the sand. The Watergate Bay Hotel's Beach Hut restaurant sits above the beach for meals with a direct sea view. Whipsiderry Beach is about 1.3 miles north, and Mawgan Porth - a quieter, family-friendly bay - is roughly 1.5 miles away. Newquay's town centre is 3 miles south for a wider range of shops and restaurants.

The 500-metre walk to the beach makes this one of the closest accommodation options to the sand at Watergate Bay. **Less good for:** couples looking for a single bedroom with privacy (the apartment sleeps 4 total), or guests wanting spa facilities on site.
