The kitchen has a central island and is well equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine. Two bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms, and there is a separate bathroom with a roll-top bath, 4 bathrooms in total across the house.

The enclosed rear garden has lawn and flower borders and catches afternoon sun. A BBQ is provided and off-road parking is available. Pendower Beach is 3.6 km away on the Roseland coast, with Carne Beach at 4.2 km - both are sheltered, sandy, and dog-friendly year-round. Portscatho has a pub (the Plume of Feathers), a village shop, and a cafe. St Mawes is about 4 miles north, and the King Harry Ferry reaches Falmouth.

Best for: families or couples wanting a village-square base on the quiet Roseland with open-fire evenings and dog-friendly beaches nearby. Less good for: guests needing to walk to the beach, or those wanting a coastal rather than village-centre setting.
