3 Lower Saltings

Three Lower Saltings is a one-bedroom apartment for two off a St Ives back lane. The king-size bedroom opens through a stable door to seating in a shared courtyard, and the bathroom has a wet-room shower. The courtyard remains communal rather than a private garden. In the apartment, the bedroom and the wet room are both on the downstairs level.

The living area is open plan, and the kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave and a fridge. Wi-Fi, a dishwasher and washing machine are provided. The living area has a corner sofa, and the wet room has a walk-in shower and WC. Dogs are not accepted. The bedroom has a king-size bed, and the apartment sleeps two.

Porthgwidden Beach is a sheltered south-facing cove 200 metres away. Porthmeor Beach is 300 metres away, followed by St Ives Harbour Beach at 400 metres. The Island headland begins at the north end of Porthmeor, where the South West Coast Path has sea views and occasional seal or dolphin sightings. The St Ives guide covers the town and beaches.

**Best for:** a couple wanting beaches and central St Ives on foot. **Less good for:** guests needing private outside space or step-free accommodation.
