4 Polgrain Turning is an end-terrace cottage just outside the village of St Wenn, on the edge of Bodmin Moor, and 3.4 miles from St Columb Major. The front and back gardens are both enclosed, and there is off-road parking for two cars.

The sitting room has a woodburning stove, with fuel and a starter pack included in the rent, alongside power, bed linen and towels. The kitchen/diner has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, kettle and toaster, with a utility room and washing machine next door. There is a TV and WiFi.

Three bedrooms are up the stairs: two doubles and a single, sleeping five in all. The single bedroom looks over the garden towards the moor. The only bathroom is on the ground floor, with a bath, shower over, basin, heated towel rail and WC.

One well-behaved dog is welcome, and a lake 0.5 miles away makes an easy walk. The nearest shop is 2.7 miles away and the pub 3.1 miles, so a car is useful. Smoking is not allowed. The cottage suits a family or a small group wanting a quiet base with a garden for a dog, and is less good for anyone who wants a bathroom on the same floor as the bedrooms.
