Single-storey Portreath lodge with private hot tub, sleeps 5
74 Porthmeor is a single-storey lodge in Portreath, built around an open-plan living area with a kitchen, a dining table and a sitting area with a woodburning stove. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included, and the kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a dishwasher and a washing machine.
There are three bedrooms. Both super-king-size rooms are zip/link beds that can be set up as twins on request, and each has a TV. The first has an en-suite wet room with a walk-in shower. The third bedroom is a single. The family bathroom has a bath with a TV, a shower over the bath and a heated towel rail.
The decking outside has furniture and a private hot tub, and it is not enclosed. Parking is off-road for one car. Pets are not allowed, smoking is not allowed, bookings cannot start on a Sunday and a good housekeeping bond applies. A shop and pub are 0.6 miles away and the beach is 0.8 miles away. Truro is 14 miles off and St Ives 15 miles.
The lodge suits a family or two couples sharing, with five beds across three bedrooms. It is less good for anyone travelling with a dog, as pets are not allowed.
