Carvannel Cottages

Carvannel Cottages is a 3-bedroom cottage near Portreath on Cornwall's north coast, sleeping five guests in a double, a bunk room, and a single. A hot tub in the enclosed garden and an open fire inside make it a solid option in any season.

The sitting room has a woodburning stove, and the kitchen and dining room are separate spaces rather than open-plan. Off-road parking fits two cars. Portreath Beach, a sandy north coast beach with reliable surf and summer lifeguards, is 1 km away. Godrevy Beach, the wide National Trust stretch at the east end of St Ives Bay, is 6.9 km along the coast.

Portreath village has a pub, cafes, and a beach shop within walking distance. The Coast to Coast mineral tramway cycle route starts here and runs south to Devoran on the Fal estuary. The mining coast between Camborne and St Agnes is within easy reach, with clifftop engine houses and old mine workings scattered along the path.
