Barbara

Barbara is a single-storey, three-bedroom lodge in Portreath, with sea views and a large decking area that holds a private hot tub, dining furniture and sun loungers. The hot tub is drained, cleaned and refilled at every changeover, so it may not reach full temperature on arrival day.

The king-size bedroom has a TV and an en-suite with a walk-in shower and heated towel rail. There are two twin rooms, and one of them can be made up as a super king on request. The main bathroom has a bath with a shower over. The lodge sleeps six.

The open-plan living space has floor-to-ceiling windows on two sides and a wood-burning stove, with power and a starter pack for the stove included. It also has air conditioning, and the lodge has underfloor central heating. The kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There are three Smart TVs and Wi-Fi.

Guests can use the on-site swimming pool and gym. Parking is one designated space, with overflow parking on site. Shops, a pub and the beach are 1.1 miles away. Charging an electric vehicle from the property's supply is strictly prohibited, pets are not accepted and smoking is not allowed. The lodge is ideal for a family or a group of up to six, and less good for anyone travelling with a dog.
