Fairsands

Fairsands is a terraced cottage in Portreath, and the beach is 0.1 miles away. Outside, an enclosed raised courtyard has patio furniture and a barbecue, and the outdoor space has views towards the sea.

The living and dining room has a woodburning stove, with a kitchen and utility room alongside. Appliances include an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, air fryer, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a conservatory, a TV and WiFi, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent.

It sleeps six over three bedrooms: two doubles, plus a third bedroom. There are two bathrooms, one with a bath, shower over, basin and heated towel rail, and a ground-floor shower room with a walk-in shower. The bedrooms are upstairs.

One well-behaved dog is allowed. Parking is for two cars, and smoking is not allowed. Portreath has pubs, bars, cafes, a bakery and a deli within a short walk.

The layout suits a family or a small group who want the beach close by; it is less good for anyone who cannot manage stairs, as the bedrooms are on the upper floor. From Portreath, St Ives is 15 miles and Truro 14 miles.
