Bay View

Bay View is a single-storey, 3-bedroom lodge at The Residence in Portreath, a north coast village with mining heritage and reliable Atlantic surf. The lodge sleeps 6 and comes with a private hot tub, enclosed rear decking, and access to on-site facilities including a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, gym, tennis courts, and a 9-hole golf course.

Inside, the open-plan living space has a kitchen, dining area, and sitting area with a woodburning stove. Three bedrooms - one king-size with en-suite shower and two twins - all have TVs. The bathroom includes a bath, shower, heated towel rail, and TV. Air conditioning and underfloor heating maintain comfort year-round. A dishwasher, washing machine, and full kitchen equipment are provided, along with Smart TV and WiFi.

The enclosed rear decking leads to a non-enclosed garden with the hot tub. Designated parking for one car is provided, with additional communal parking and free EV charging available. Portreath Beach - sandy with summer lifeguards and rock pools - is 800 metres away. Godrevy Beach, a wide National Trust beach with views of Godrevy Lighthouse, is 4.8 miles further along the coast. Three dogs are welcome.

Portreath sits at one end of the Coast to Coast mineral tramway cycle route to Devoran on the Fal estuary. The village has cafes, a pub, and a beach shop, and provides a base for exploring the mining coast between Camborne and St Agnes.
