The finish is the most modern in the cluster - flat-fronted joinery, a minimal palette, and a private hot tub rather than the shared one used by neighbouring units. The estate sits a five-minute walk above the beach, between Looe and Polperro on the south coast.

Inside, the open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge runs across one floor with an open fire, dishwasher and washing machine. Each of the four bedrooms has its own bathroom, which suits two couples plus children, or four adults sharing without compromise. Wifi runs throughout.

Outside, the ground-floor patio handles morning coffee and the rooftop terrace catches afternoon sun looking out across the cove. The private hot tub is for this house only; estate guests share the heated indoor pool and outdoor plunge pool. An EV charger sits in the parking bay - rare in this corner of Cornwall. Dogs are welcome.

Talland Bay beach is south-facing with sand and rock pools at low tide, plus two cafes - one on the sand, one above at the Talland Bay Hotel. The coast path runs west to Polperro (1 mile via Lansallos) and east to Looe (3 miles via Hannafore).

Best for two couples or a group of friends wanting modern-build comfort with their own hot tub. Less good for anyone after a traditional Cornish cottage feel - this one is firmly contemporary.
