Aaron's Cottage

Aaron's Cottage is a five-bedroom property in Treburgett, near St Teath, sleeping nine. Two woodburning stoves and an open fire give the place warmth, and the rural setting puts it between the north Cornwall coast and Bodmin Moor.

The ground floor has a king-size master with en-suite bath and shower over, plus a single room. Upstairs, a king, a twin and a room with a double and single bed (accessed from one side) share a ground-floor bathroom with freestanding bath and walk-in shower. The kitchen has an oven, ceramic hob, AGA, microwave, fridge/freezer, two dishwashers, washing machine and tumble dryer. A dining room with woodburning stove and a first-floor sitting room with a second stove give separate living spaces. A snug and a games area with football table, dartboard and Nintendo Wii round out the interior.

Outside, a multi-level terraced front garden has a patio with charcoal barbecue and furniture. The rear garden has a lawn, patio and additional field space. Parking is limited to three cars. The terraces are uneven with drop-offs, and the cottage stairs are steep.

Tregardock Beach - a remote, surf-friendly beach reached by a steep coastal path - is 3 miles away. Port Gaverne, a sheltered cove near Port Isaac with calm water for swimming and kayaking, is 3.4 miles. Port Isaac itself is about 5 miles northwest, and Tintagel roughly 5 miles northeast.

Best for two families or a large group happy to share bedrooms across two floors, within reach of both the north coast and Bodmin Moor. Less good for anyone with mobility needs - the cottage stairs are steep and the garden terraces have uneven drop-offs.
