Amy Jane Cottage is a three-bedroom stone cottage in central Polruan, sleeping 5 in two king-size rooms and one single. It has one bathroom for the group.

Exposed stone walls and a wood burner feature in the lounge, and a spiral staircase leads up to the first floor, where a king-size bedroom and the single share the level with the bathroom. The top-floor single room has partial sea views, while a front garden area looks onto village activity. Wi-Fi, parking and a dishwasher are included, and up to three dogs are welcome. There is no washing machine, so longer stays may need a laundry run. The front garden gives guests somewhere to sit outside during the day.

The passenger ferry to Fowey is a short walk from the front door. Local pubs, a cafe, bakery and shop can also be reached on foot, making it possible to use village facilities without driving once parked.

Readymoney Cove is 800 metres away, Lantic Bay is 1.1 miles and Lansallos Beach is 2.5 miles. The Bodinnick guide covers the opposite side of the estuary and the wider area around the ferry crossing.

**Best for:** a family wanting three bedrooms, village facilities and the Fowey ferry on foot. **Less good for:** five guests wanting more than one bathroom or travellers needing step-free access.
