Angarrack is a small village set in the valley between Hayle and Redruth, roughly a mile inland from the estuary. The village is quiet and predominantly residential, which means evening noise is minimal and the lanes are suitable for dog walking without heading straight to the beach.

Gwithian Towans beach is 3.4km away - a broad expanse of sand backed by dunes that runs for three miles to Godrevy Point. Godrevy has the lighthouse that inspired Virginia Woolf, along with a seasonal National Trust cafe and a reliable seal colony on the rocks offshore. St Ives is 15 minutes by car, or reachable by the branch-line railway from Hayle station, which avoids the summer parking problem entirely.

Ideal for a couple with a dog who want a quiet inland base within easy range of the Hayle and St Ives coast. Less suited to families or anyone needing more than one bedroom. Works well for shoulder-season visits when the Godrevy area is far less crowded. From £640 per week with Friday changeover.
