Cosy Nook St Erth

Cosy Nook is a traditional 18th-century cottage for two with a Hayle address and St Erth as the nearest village, a short walk from the parish church and the 600-year-old bridge that once carried the main road. Its only bedroom is small and contains a 4ft 6in double bed, a material detail for guests who prefer more sleeping space. One bathroom serves the cottage.

The garden contains tropical plants, including a giant Echium grown from North African stock, and a BBQ provides an option for eating outside on warmer evenings. WiFi, parking and a washing machine are included. Dogs are not accepted at this property.

Porthkidney Beach is 2.1 miles away, Carbis Bay 2.7 miles and Marazion Beach 3.5 miles from the cottage. St Erth's own railway station is the junction for the branch line to St Ives, with up to 69 services a day making it one of the busiest interchanges in Cornwall - useful for a car-free day trip along the coast. Walks beside the River Hayle start close to the village too.

**Best for:** Two guests wanting an older cottage, a tropical garden, in-cottage laundry and rail access towards St Ives without a car.

**Less good for:** Guests travelling with a dog, anyone needing a larger bed or step-free access, or those wanting a beach immediately outside the door.
