Bay Tree Cottage

Bay Tree Cottage is a traditional 2-bedroom cottage on Princes Street in Looe, a south-east Cornwall fishing town split across two sides of a working harbour. The cottage sleeps 4 and sits close to the town centre, with shops and pubs within 0.1 miles.

The two bedrooms - one double and one twin - both have Smart TVs. A ground-floor wet room with walk-in shower, heated towel rail, and WC provides step-free access to washing facilities. The kitchen is separate from the dining room and sitting room, giving defined spaces across the cottage. An Alexa music system and WiFi are included, along with a dishwasher and washing machine.

Outside, a courtyard provides an outdoor space. Roadside parking operates on a first-come basis. East Looe Beach - a sheltered sandy beach right in town - is 300 metres away, and Hannafore Beach in West Looe, known for its rock pools, is 0.6 miles from the door.

Looe's harbour is still genuinely active, with fishing boats landing catches on the quayside daily. The coast path runs in both directions - east towards Whitsand Bay or west through woods to Polperro. Looe Island, a Cornwall Wildlife Trust nature reserve, sits just offshore with boat trips running in summer. The Looe Valley branch line railway connects to mainline services at Liskeard.
