Bees Knees

This annexe is a converted wing of the main house, set within a small hamlet in the parish of Morwenstow, just inside the Cornish border. Nearby is a historic 13th Century inn and the Hawkers Hut, cared for by the National Trust and built into the cliffs above the sea. The village of Kilkhampton is three miles away, with a few shops and a couple of traditional inns and takeaways. Bude, a few miles further, has shops, restaurants, cafes and a swimming pool alongside its sandy beaches. The South West Coast Path is ten minutes from the property, with coastal walks in both directions.

The accommodation occupies the ground floor only, with a double bedroom with garden views, bathroom, lounge/diner and kitchen. The bathroom has a shower over bath and a pair of his-and-her washbasins. The lounge has a dining table and chairs, a Smart TV, and a flame-effect electric fire. The kitchen has a ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, breakfast bar, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.

To the side of the property there is also a spacious private enclosed garden where there is seating, storage and a BBQ provided.

Best for a couple travelling with dogs who want a quiet ground-floor base a short drive from the coast path and Bude. Less good for anyone wanting to walk to a beach - Duckpool Beach is a 4-mile drive away.
