Berkeley View

This apartment is on the second floor in the seaside town of Looe, and its dining space looks over the river. It sleeps four in two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds, and the single bathroom has a bath with a shower over it, a basin and a WC.

Parking is off-road. The approach to the property is steep and the apartment is reached by stairs, with no lift. Inside, the kitchen, dining area and sitting area share one open-plan room. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a kettle and a toaster, and electric central heating, a TV and WiFi are included. Bed linen, towels, fuel and power are covered in the rent, and a cot and a highchair can be provided on request.

The pub is 0.1 miles away, and the shop, the river and the beach are each 0.6 miles off. Smoking is not allowed. Dogs are welcome, so check with the owners how many are allowed before you book. Coastal walks start from Portnadler Bay, and Golitha Falls National Nature Reserve, Kit Hill Country Park and the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty are all close by.

The flat suits two couples or a small family who are comfortable with stairs, and it is less good for anyone who finds a steep ascent or a climb to the second floor difficult.
