Blue Bell Cottage

Blue Bell Cottage is a two-bedroom property near Polgooth, a former tin-mining village about 2 miles west of St Austell on Cornwall's south coast. The cottage accommodates three people - one double and one single bedroom, with the single room accessed through the double.

Note that the property has internal steps beyond the main staircase, and only accepts children aged 10 and over.

Porthpean Beach, a sheltered sandy cove with lifeguard cover in summer, is 2.2 miles away. Pentewan Beach, with nearly a mile of golden sand and facilities for kayaking and paddleboarding, is 2.3 miles.

Polgooth sits in a practical position between St Austell's services and the south coast beaches. The Eden Project is roughly 3 miles north, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan about 4 miles south. The Polgooth Inn, serving food with a beer garden, is about a mile away. St Austell has a mainline rail station with direct services to London Paddington.
