Blue Oyster

Blue Oyster is a one-bedroom cottage a short walk from the centre of Mullion, on the Lizard, with the shop and pub 10 minutes' walk away. It sleeps two, all on one floor, with a double bedroom that has an en-suite double shower, basin and WC. Helston is five miles away.

The open-plan living area combines a kitchen with a breakfast bar, a dining area and a sitting area centred on a large woodburning stove. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge and a dishwasher, and there is a Smart TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime and Sky Cinema, plus WiFi, books, games and DVDs. The walls carry a collection of signed photographs, and there is space for a game of pool. Fuel, power and a woodburner starter pack are included, as are bed linen and towels.

Outside, a garden has a lawned area, a patio and furniture. The property has parking for one car, with one step into the cottage and three steps up to the patio. An electric vehicle charging point is available, arranged and paid for directly with the owner.

Arrivals and departures are on Saturdays only, and one-night bookings are not accepted. The cottage does not accept guests under 18, including infants. Smoking is not allowed. It suits a couple, with a woodburner in the living area and space for a game of pool, and is less good for anyone travelling with children or wanting a mid-week changeover.
