Talland Bay is 0.9 miles away - a sheltered cove with two small shingle-and-sand beaches divided by a rocky outcrop. The beach cafe hires out kayaks, and rock pooling is productive at low tide. Lekerock Cove Beach, a remote rocky cove, is 1.1 miles away. From Talland Bay, the South West Coast Path runs to Looe (about 2.5 miles east) and Polperro (2.5 miles west), both with harbours, pubs and restaurants. The nearest shops are in Looe. Reduced rates are sometimes available for smaller parties using a single bedroom.

Best for a family or group wanting a quiet base near Talland Bay, with private parking and two separate outdoor spots for evenings by the fire pit. Less good for anyone travelling with a dog - pets aren't permitted here.
