Brunnion House

Brunnion House is a converted barn at Lelant Downs, part of the Brunnion Barns cluster between Hayle and St Ives. It sleeps five across two ground-floor bedrooms - one double, one twin - with a walk-in shower room at the same level. The layout makes it accessible for guests who prefer to avoid stairs day-to-day.

The upstairs sitting room is the property's standout feature: a first-floor space with a log burner and dual-aspect windows overlooking the lawned gardens. The kitchen connects to a conservatory-style dining area that also faces the garden. A dishwasher, Smart TV, and WiFi are included. Shared tumble dryer access is in an adjacent outbuilding.

A patio and lawned garden wrap around the cottage, and off-road parking fits two cars. Two dogs are welcome. Carbis Bay Beach is 2.6 km away - a Blue Flag sandy cove with seasonal lifeguards and summer kayak hire. Porthminster Beach lies 4.1 km north at the edge of St Ives, where the Tate gallery, harbour, and restaurants are within walking distance of the sand.

Best for small families or two couples who want a quieter inland base with easy access to both St Ives and Hayle. Less suited to guests expecting sea views - the outlook here is garden and countryside rather than coast.
