Bumblebee Cottage Looe

Bumblebee Cottage is a semi-detached stone barn conversion for four near Looe, the fishing town split either side of the harbour by a Victorian bridge. A double and a twin bedroom share two bathrooms, with one bedroom and bathroom downstairs; the twin is recommended for children only, so the layout may not suit four adults comfortably.

A private, enclosed patio looks out over the countryside, and guests also share a south-facing garden with rural views. WiFi, private parking for two cars, a dishwasher and a washing machine are included, and up to two dogs can stay.

The South West Coast Path can be joined from the door. Plaidy Beach, a quiet mixed sand-and-shingle cove, is 1 mile away. East Looe Beach, sheltered by the harbour walls, is 1.7 miles away, and Hannafore Beach, known for its rock pools, is 2 miles away. Looe's working harbour and Looe Island nature reserve are both a short drive.

The downstairs bedroom and bathroom reduce stair use, though no entrance, threshold or adapted-bathroom measurements are supplied, so guests needing verified step-free access should check with the provider.

**Best for:** A small family wanting two bathrooms, an enclosed patio, a shared garden and coast-path walks from the door.

**Less good for:** Four adults sharing one twin room, guests needing fully documented step-free access, or travellers wanting private use of all outside space.
