Channel View House

Channel View House sleeps eight across four bedrooms, and each has its own en-suite. Two are super-king rooms, one with a free-standing bath and the other with a zip-and-link bed that can be made up as twins on request. The third bedroom has a king-size bed and the fourth a double. A ground-floor shower room brings the house to five bathrooms.

The house stands near Wadebridge in North Cornwall. The Quarryman pub is next door, 0.1 mile away, and the nearest shop is 0.7 miles off. A lane beside the house gives access to the Camel Trail, which follows the River Camel to Wadebridge or Padstow, and the Royal Cornwall Showground is within easy walking distance.

Living space takes in a kitchen/diner with an extendable table, a utility room, a sitting room with an electric fire and a separate snug. An air source heat pump feeds underfloor heating. The kitchen has a dual oven, NEFF hob and coffee machine, and there is a washing machine and tumble dryer. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included, with check-in from 4pm and check-out by 10am.

Outside, the rear garden is enclosed, with lawn, patio, shed, an external shower, outdoor furniture and an outdoor fireplace with a BBQ grill. The private driveway holds one car, with more parking on the road, and EV charging is available. Pets and smoking are not allowed.

Stays run for a full week from a Friday, so this suits two families or a group of friends who each want an en-suite room; it is less good for anyone hoping for a short break.
