Meadow Retreat

Meadow Retreat is a reverse-level house in the hamlet of Rosenannon, with the bedrooms downstairs and the open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area on the first floor. Doors from the sitting area lead onto a balcony. The nearest shop is 3.8 miles away and the nearest pub 4.1 miles, while the town of Wadebridge is 5.5 miles off.

Three of the four bedrooms are on the ground floor. The fourth, a first-floor double, has its own en-suite bath with a shower over it. Elsewhere there are two further doubles and a twin, a shower room with a walk-in shower, and a first-floor cloakroom with a basin and WC. The house sleeps eight.

Outside, the garden is enclosed and gated. Two cars fit outside the house, and further off-road parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, and Rosenannon Downs, a nature reserve managed by the Cornwall Wildlife Trust, is one mile from the door.

Underfloor central heating runs from an eco system, and fuel and power are included in the rent, along with bed linen and towels. Smoking is not allowed. The house suits a family or two couples travelling together with dogs, and the split between bedrooms downstairs and living space upstairs makes it less good for anyone who wants both on one level.
