Priests Cove, a rocky cove at the foot of Cape Cornwall with rock pools and dramatic sea views, is 4km southwest. Gwynver Beach, a sandy surf beach with powerful Atlantic swells and fewer crowds than nearby Sennen, is 7.4km away. Pendeen sits on the Tin Coast section of the South West Coast Path, with Geevor Tin Mine museum and the clifftop engine house ruins at Botallack both within walking distance. The B3306 coast road connects to St Ives, roughly 8 miles northeast.
