Claire's Cottage

Claire's Cottage is a ground-floor annexe in the hamlet of Stibb, near Kilkhampton. It sleeps four in two bedrooms, one double and one twin, and is best suited to two adults and two children, with a shower room and an open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area.

The fire is electric with a woodburner-style effect, not a working wood burner. A washing machine and tumble dryer are included, alongside a television with Freeview and a DVD player. Dogs are not accepted.

The private lawned garden has a patio and outdoor furniture. Off-road parking accommodates two cars. The cottage is a single-storey annexe attached to the owners' home and bed and breakfast. Guests with mobility needs should ask the owner about step-free entry, doorway widths and shower adaptations before booking.

Sandymouth Beach is 1.5 miles away, with Duckpool Beach and Northcott Mouth a short drive along the coast. Kilkhampton village is about 2.5 miles east, with a pub, post office and church. **Best for:** A family of four wanting a single-storey layout, private garden, laundry facilities and parking for two cars near several beaches.

**Less good for:** Dog owners. Guests who need step-free access should check with the owner before booking.
