Clowance Wood Cottage

Clowance Wood Cottage is a character two-bedroom property on a working farm near Praze-an-Beeble, sleeping 4 in a double and a bunk-bed room. The open-plan lounge has a wood burner for cooler evenings, and the enclosed walled courtyard garden overlooks surrounding farmland. One dog is welcome at no extra charge, and the farm setting provides walks from the doorstep across the surrounding fields. Parking is available at the cottage, and WiFi is included.

Praa Sands, a wide sheltered bay on the Lizard coast, is 4.6 miles south. Gwithian Towans is 5 miles north - a long dune-backed beach named best in the UK by The Times in 2024. Rinsey Cove, a smaller rocky cove with National Trust parking, is 5 miles to the south-west.

This cottage suits families or couples who want a quiet rural setting with easy drives to multiple beaches, rather than those seeking a coastal or town location. Penzance is roughly 6.2 miles to the south-west, providing the nearest supermarkets and rail connections. Helston, the nearest market town to the south, hosts the Furry Dance each May and is about 5 miles. The Clowance Estate, which includes woodland trails and a lake, lies adjacent to the farm setting. Woodland walks start from the lane outside.
