Cobble Cottage is a terraced three-bedroom cottage on Valency Row in Boscastle, a north Cornwall harbour village 5 miles south of Tintagel. The property sits within a 2-minute walk of the village shops, pubs, and the National Trust harbour.

Inside, the cottage has two double bedrooms and one single, with a bathroom containing a bath and shower over. The open-plan ground floor combines kitchen, dining area, and sitting area with an open fire - fuel and a starter pack are included. WiFi, a dishwasher, and a washer/dryer are all provided.

A private patio with furniture sits above the cottage, accessed via three steep flights of steps. The open-tread stairs to the bedrooms and bathroom are worth noting for anyone with mobility concerns. Parking is available in a public car park 200 yards away. Bossiney Cove, a sandy beach near Tintagel with turquoise water and Elephant Rock, is 2.4 miles away. Crackington Haven, a lifeguarded surf beach with rock pools, is 4.3 miles along the coast.

Boscastle was rebuilt after the 2004 flood and remains a working village with the Museum of Witchcraft by the harbour and direct access to the South West Coast Path. St Nectans Glen waterfall is less than 2 miles inland, and Tintagel Castle is a short drive north.

Best for families wanting a harbour-village base within a 2-minute walk of the shops and pubs. Less good for anyone with limited mobility - the open-tread stairs to the bedrooms and the three flights of steps to the patio are steep.
