Portreath is a former industrial harbour on the north Cornish coast, now a quiet village that sits on the Cornish Mining World Heritage Site. Engine house ruins and mining trails are accessible on foot from the village, and the South West Coast Path runs along the clifftops above. Godrevy Beach is 4.9 miles and Gwithian Towans is 5.4 miles - both long, open Atlantic beaches suitable for surfing. St Ives is roughly 20 minutes by road and Newquay around 30 minutes.

The property has a BBQ, garden, dishwasher, and washing machine. Dogs are not accepted.

This property is good for small families or groups of 4 who want a village base with beach access and low driving distances across north Cornwall. It is less suited to guests expecting high-spec interiors.
