The eastern Lizard coastline sees fewer visitors than the western side around Kynance Cove, which means the coast path between Porthallow, Porthoustock and Ponsence Cove is generally uncrowded even in August. Helston, the nearest market town, is around 5.6 miles for grocery shopping and a weekly market.
