Cottage with log burner, Looe

A woodburning stove anchors the sitting room of this Looe cottage, which sleeps four in two double bedrooms. Upstairs, the front double has an en-suite walk-in shower and looks over Looe Bridge and the harbour; the rear double has its own access to a bathroom with a bath and a separate walk-in shower.

The kitchen has an electric oven, an induction hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine, a dishwasher and a dehumidifier. There is a Smart TV, WiFi, a hairdryer and an iron. Bed linen and towels, fuel and power are included. A highchair, travel cot and cot are available on request. Outside are a garden with a patio and furniture, and a balcony.

Parking needs planning. Parking is in payable public car parks nearby, with limited roadside parking a short walk away. Guests may unload in the taxi bay opposite the doctors before moving the car. Come in by Station Road, not Shutta Road, whatever a satnav suggests. Access is via a steep slope, which may not suit guests with limited mobility. Pets and smoking are not allowed, and check-in is 4pm with check-out at 10am.

The cottage is in the middle of Looe. The shop and pub are 0.2 miles away and the beach is 1.1 miles. Polperro is 5 miles away. It suits two couples or a small family who can manage the slope and do without a car space; it is less good for anyone travelling with a dog.
