Cove Retreat

Cove Retreat is a first-floor apartment in the middle of Sennen Cove, set back from the main street. The beach is 0.1 miles away, with a shop 0.1 miles and a pub 0.2 miles. The apartment is reached up a short flight of steps, so take care on arrival.

The open-plan living space has a kitchen, dining table and sitting area with two sofas and a Smart TV. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, kettle and toaster, and a shared utility room holds the washing machine and tumble dryer. The one double bedroom is served by a bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin, heated towel rail and WC. Electric heating is used, and bed linen, towels, fuel and power are included in the rent.

Outdoor space is the main draw. The shared front patio has furniture and sea views, the rear has an enclosed garden with furniture, and above it an elevated enclosed rear garden has a barbecue and sun loungers. Private off-road parking takes one car. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Smoking is not allowed, and the minimum booking is 3 nights.

The apartment sleeps two and suits a couple wanting a base a few yards from the beach and the South West Coast Path. It is less good for anyone who finds steps hard, since the entrance is up a short flight of steps, and it has only one bedroom for larger parties.
