The Camel Trail cycling route follows the Camel Estuary from Padstow - 6 miles to Wadebridge and 12 miles to Bodmin - and is one of the most used leisure cycling routes in Cornwall. Daymer Bay Beach is 5.7km, a low-tide sand flat at the estuary mouth. Trevone Bay is the same distance in a slightly different direction, with an open Atlantic swell and a natural rock pool.

Greenaway Beach is 6.4km and is reached via a coast path walk from Daymer Bay - a tide-dependent cove that is rarely crowded. Camel Creek Family Theme Park is 2 miles from the property, and Tintagel Castle is 17 miles north along the coast road. Up to 2 dogs are welcome, and private parking is on site. WiFi is included.
